“what can i say? i like the color green.”
“Yes.” She just managed to stop herself saying that it was her mates. “His name is Cornilles, very lazy never does his job at all.” She rolled her eyes smiling.
“It looks good. looks like he has good muscle tone . How much are we putting on him?”
“Ha. He’s a guard dog, I assume?” Weren’t many other jobs a varren could have on the Citadel. Nothing to herd (if varren had herding instincts in the first place) and there weren’t many places for them to race. Most people on the Citadel weren’t even allowed pets. Wasted too many resources.
“Ah, right. You’re the expert here.” He smiled brightly, raising the number higher by a smidgen. “I think that will do. I don’t want to lose too much money tonight.”
“Yes, though I don’t know what hes post to guard here.” Isis gave him another smile looping her arm though his, leaning on him.
“”that sounds wise, when you don’t believe in luck it can be quite hard to gamble it away.” she looked at the race hoping they would win, she didn’t like to lose at all. At least it wouldnt be to much this time.
isisrisesmec replied to your post: Isis looked at the suited face in front of her. she could see herself in the reflection…was there a mark on her face? she leaned forward looking at herself forgetting there was someone behind the mask.Isis raised an eyebrow at the cough. “you look like one. just stand still for a few more moments. Im almost done. who are you?” she asked as she made sure nothing was on her face.Oh, the brazenness of this one is unparalleled. Han’Gerrel, summoning what must be a legendary amount of patience, somehow manages to avoid sending one of his fists flying straight for her face, opting instead to just tighten his crossed arms. “Someone who does not appreciate being used like a vanity mirror. And someone who can make you quite sorry for treating him like one.”
Isis finished and took a step back. If quirains didn’t want to be used as a mirror then their face plates shouldn’t be reflective.
“You have legs like one I had awhile ago, but at least that one didn’t talk back.” she smirked then crossed her arms looking at the Quirain. she couldn’t tell suit rats apart even had trouble knowing if they were female or male.
Isis watched as her husband, no her mate slept beside her. his breathing easy, mandibles twitching as he dreamed. she wished she was that calm and could sleep.
